The story

Patience has a sound. In winter, it is almost nothing.

The storm moved in before dawn, erasing the trail and softening the horizon. I had been waiting at the edge of the valley for hours when a dark shape emerged through the weather.

There was no chase and no perfect plan—only the stillness of a wild animal completely at home in conditions that made everything else disappear. This image is about that calm, and the strength hidden inside it.
